Overview
The RoseComm Unified Messaging System is a unified messaging and call management platform for small and medium size businesses, which integrates with Microsoft Outlook and your local area network, and offers state-of-the art features to maximize employee productivity and provide superior customer service. The RoseComm Unified Messaging System includes three components: IVR/Auto Attendant, Voice Mail and Call Assistant. The IVR/Auto Attendant and Voice Mail applications are installed on a Server that is connected to your phone system, while the Call Assistant application is installed on the users' computer systems.
The RoseComm Unified Messaging System receives calls from the PSTN network and offers callers an interactive menu system through the IVR/Auto Attendant application. The IVR application allows callers to access information from your database directly or reach the caller's desired extension.
Calls are forwarded into mailboxes by the Voice Mail application when there is no answer or the line is busy. Voice Mail allows you to check your voice messages either through the phone handset or by email.
When a call is routed to your extension, the Call Assistant pops up on the screen of your computer, displaying the caller's ID information, which includes the caller's phone number and name. The Call Assistant allows you to transfer the call to another extension or to voice mail rather than answering the call. The Call Assistant is fully integrated with the features in Microsoft Outlook. A contact page of Outlook automatically pops up if the caller's phone number matches a number in your Contacts folder in Outlook. Additionally, the Call Assistant will log all your inbound and outbound calls and will allow you to dial a phone number from your contact page directly.
The RoseComm Unified Messaging System is a Windows-based application with a simple, Wizard-driven, point-and-click user interface that allows you to manage your system simply and easily.
